More than 120 customers jumped into their Mazda MX-5 open-top sport cars to enjoy a Ride-Out Day with Mitchell Mazda. The drive to North Wales is organised by the Chester dealership every year to thank customers for their business.
In true Mazda Zoom Zoom spirit, even the occasional shower didn't dampen the mood and roofs where off as much as possible!
“This was our fourth Mazda MX-5 Ride-Out and it was a fantastic day,” said Brian Blanchard, Sales Manager, for Mitchell Mazda. “We organise events like these to show our customers just how much we value them. The event is incredibly popular and this year we had a 50 per cent increase in participants, with a convoy of more than 60 Mazda MX 5 soft tops and Roadster Coupe models. It was an amazing sight.”
The group gathered at the Cheshire Oaks Mazda showroom before setting off in convoy to North Wales. The first stop was at Llanelidan Church, near Ruthin, for a talk and tour by a local historian. Then it was back behind the wheel for the scenic drive to Lake Vyrnwy, which lies at the heart of the Berwyn mountain range, south of Snowdonia. Here the group was treated to lunch at the Lake Vernwy Hotel.
Also in attendance was Mazda Motors UK managing director Rob Lindley: “It was a wonderful drive and we enjoyed some breathtaking scenery,” he enthused. “The event is just one example of how Mitchell Mazda offers so much more to its customers as a mark of appreciation.
