....When I found out that I would be working at Mitchell Group I was aware of the reputation it had for excellent customer care. But as I arrived for my first day, I was astounded at the number of facilities available for staff and customers alike.
As I was taken around on a tour of the site, the first thing that came to my mind was the amount of thought and the attention to detail that has gone into this vast development. Again, the attention to detail has left no stone unturned when it comes to facilities that make buying a car here so enjoyable for the customer, from the customer waiting area to the handover bay, these facilities make the customer feel special.
But it’s not just about selling cars; the site includes workshop and valeting areas which are amazingly clean and tidy and provide an excellent service which is a vital part of the company.
The company’s tag line is “it’s our people who make the difference” and I think that is definitely the case here, the staff are friendly and helpful and they have made my experience of working here unique, enjoyable and very useful, and I would like to thank them for that.
I don’t think I could have chosen a better place to do my work experience. Again, a big thank you to everyone who helped make this such a valuable experience.

....I spent a week overall for my work experience in the Mitchell Dealership. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and opportunity to see what it was like to work in a big business. While I was there I was shown a range of different jobs, including marketing, sales administration and helping out in the workshop. These were just a few of the jobs I did throughout the week.
Every day was different from each other, doing new things I’d never done before, and also learning new pieces of information too. All the staff seemed to enjoy their jobs, and all had different roles within the dealerships. For example, I worked in the marketing department where we looked into different events that had happened, advertising the dealership to the public and also customers over the years.
All the staff in the dealership were friendly people and very welcoming to customers making you feel comfortable when talking to them. They were good at what they do and I learned some interesting information from them. Overall the experience was worthwhile and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to take a look into a successful, professional business.
